Repousse

This blog is on applying an 3D effect to an image. Below is the final version of the effected image.

 

 The text has been copied, inverted and distorted to get the lengthened shadow effect. Also the visibility of the layer has been lowered. 

Also a gradient overlay has been done on the text layer to add an extra effect to it.

 

The layer organization is as shown below.
